Setting: A shopping centre about a 45 minute drive away from the manor.
Summary: Bast and Shadow go shopping.


The shopping center was crowded, but not terribly so, and it was kinda ofof nice to watch ordinary people and families go about the ordinary business of buying clothing and kitchen appliances and children's toys. Shadow had always appreciated normal, every day life, even though he'd pretty much accepted that it wasn't for him.

Not far from the entrance there was a woman's clothing store that looked promising- not a teenagers store but a classy-looking place that would probably have a good selection of stylish adult clothing; blouses and skirts and nicer jeans.

"You want to try that place first?" he suggested, pointing.

((Meh *skins self for crappy reply time*. But I do have a half-excuse this time. Serious canon twists for Fay and Kuro-muns have meant this kitty's spent the last few days as a cyber plushie-toy XD. But the Axel-thread is up! Is it okay if Kadaj has a mini-thread at the same time? It just means I'm not spamming and I can kill two birds with one stone...))

Bast tore herself away from the sheer facination that was normality. Tawny eyes blinked at Shadow, then she smiled, starting to walk towards the place he'd indicated. "Yeah, sure thing. Looks good. We gotta start somewhere, haven't we?"
