Summary: Three Horsemen, one retired, decided to take a vacation.

The day was sunny and bright when Pollution stepped out of the main door of the mansion. His motorcycle was parked out front but even the comforting sight of faded chrome and dirty white paint could not push the headache from his mind. It was very good that he was getting out of this place and out somewhere were he could breathe in the smog and feel like he was doing something worth while again. It also didn't hurt that he was going with two person type things whom he was very close to. Messrs Famine and Pestilence. All three of them needed a bit of a pick me up.

Moving forward, he stroked a hand over the well wore exterior of his bike and sighed, content. His old friend would take him far away from here. They'd go to Africa, the US, Russia and the bleached corals of Pohnpei. Pollution was not going to to allow his friends to work, but they could have fun none the less. He knew he wouldn't be able to stop Famine, Pestilence might be only a little bit easier, but he was determined that they would relax, whether they wanted to or not.

Famine exited the mansion still shrugging on his black Hells Angels jacket. He was dressed more casually than usual for the occasion, black jeans and a black t-shirt under the jacket, figuring that if they were going on vacation he might as well do it right. He came quietly up behind Pollution and put his hands on his hips, pulling him close for a moment. "I see you got your bike fixed." He grinned and kissed Pollution's ear lightly before releasing him and moving over to check his own bike. He was looking forward to this trip, getting out from under the Antichrist's influence. He knew that Pollution didn't want them to work at all on this trip, and he was leaving even his phone behind so his corporation wouldn't be able to contact him, but he figured that sneaking in a little bit here and there wouldn't hurt. It would feel good to actually be able to effect things again.

Famine tightened his arms around Pollution and kissed his hair lightly. "I know. But it's a necessary evil, if you didn't it would stop running, and stationary pieces of metal don't typically give off any sort of emissions." He nuzzled him affectionately and smiled. "Besides, it'll be back to the way you like it by the end of the week."

Famine returned the kiss and nodded, heading for his own bike. "Ready." He was glad that Pest had agreed to come, it would do him good to get away from the manor for a while and Famine wouldn't have felt comfortable leaving him there alone after he'd been beaten up.

With a sense unique to the horsepeople, Pestilence felt the energies of his compadres shift in the ether. It was the same energy that helped them throughout history know where the others were working and when they were desired for assistance. It was due to this connection that by the time Pollution and Famine drove up on their motorcycles, their former co-worker was already waiting for them.

Pestilence sat on his chopper (a recent acquisition, less obtrusive than his usual BMW in the ratty little neighborhood he now lived in), and smiled as the two apocalyptic horsemen pulled up in front of his roach-hotel bungalow.

"It feels like the perfect time for a roadtrip, gentlemen. Ready to ride?"

Famine grinned at Pest as they pulled up. "Always, old friend. Ready to get some place more interesting?" The peace and quiet surrounding Lower Tadfield was starting to grate on him.
