Half-formed feelings and angelic instincts and doubts created a confusing and misty stew in his mind, and he wasn't sure exactly how to explain quite what he meant, that even those who had Fallen had been created in love once also, though in a different fashion, and had to still know in the cells of their being that love existed. It was hard to talk about these things when one didn't want to hurt or offend one's dear demon friends. He knew it, but he couldn't speak it. Not yet.
