Asmodeus walked past the girl carefully, looking around the room as he went further into it. His mouth curled into a pleasant grin at the sight of so many books and clothes. He was glad, though, that he hadn’t had any unforseen obstacles come up in his path. He’d hate to think what all she could have gotten up to had he taken longer. Of course, had his quick detour down Below had taken him longer than he had expected, at least he’d have had something to perk her interest.
“I hope you had a pleasant stay,” he said fondly. “It wasn’t my intention to leave you here so long, but I ended up not being able to make the jump so I had to come the long way and having to recharge my energy at my siblings’ temples. Or, what’s left of them rather.” The last he said in a rather neutral tone. Keeping the anger and disbelief at bay. “I hope you don’t mind, I had an associate of mine look up the files on the two we met in Tibet.”
